In the final game of the regular season, Comrades and Squad would enter the competition each sitting at 4-5, in a battle for the 4th seed. In an even match-up that would see some costly interceptions, one of the offenses needed a play to create a margin of separation. M. Montavon “Monty” (Squad) who’s come up big in multiple moments with games hanging in the balance, had a final chance to put his team ahead by 2 scores.

On a failed attempt to draw the defense offsides, Monty would roll right, direct his WR upfield on a hitch & go, then puts just enough English on the touchdown pass to the eager, D. Phillips, to extend the lead 12-2 at the 2 minute mark!!🔥🔥#TFL #BTF

They say it’s not how you start, but how you finish. True indeed but for this week’s player of the week, C. Conley (ICON)- it’s how you start AND how you finish. The young vet C. Conley, opened up the game with this 40 interception turned TD, but he had another pivotal INT earlier in the ball which resulted in his defense not allowing his opponents’ offense a single touchdown. It’s not too often a defensive player earns this award, but Mr. Chris Conley is well deserving!

Conley and company will need to bring that same stingy defense to Drake Field tomorrow morning when our guests “The Nightmare” pulls up on Hastings Street chomping at the bit, hungrier than ever!! 🔥🔥#TFL #BTF

🔥🔥Flying around having fun, J. Hornbeck (Comrades) bats the ball from the trenches. The ball hawk J. Cannella snags the pass for the INT, then pitches to his partner-in-crime J. Willis “JuJu”. Willis does the rest, rattles off 59 yards to close the deal!!🔥🔥#TFL #BTF

🔥🔥D. Robinson (ICON) alerts his defense presnap, as the wily C. Conley (ICON) comes away with his second INT of the ball game, then loses his legs lol on the back end! #TFL #BTF
